Hey friends, recently the question was brought up about social media marketing versus email marketing basically asking me which one works better? Or which one should be used for the best results? The first thing I always ask is.. Why not use both?
You see the reality is that by using both you’ll get the most bang for you buck. Because you’re hypothetically putting billboards… right where your prospects hang-out the most ONLINE. Whether it’s Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest or simply checking an e-mail you’ll have complete contact with your clients at all hours of the day. People even check their email and post to Facebook in the bathroom.. I know not you.. but some people do.
Did you also know that some people forget to check their e-mail regularly.. but they never forget to post a picture of themselves doing the duck face in the mirror. And vice versa there are people who never check their social media accounts either.. but their emails come directly to their phone.
But it doesn’t stop there… no it’s not that easy you see when you deliver these messages to your clients you have to remember that content is king. What I mean by that is that you have to have valuable content that will engage your visitor. So even when they are on the toilet you can grab their attention… so they actually see your content. Because what good is it to create content that no one ever sees?
Which is exactly why you want to use both strategies. Because, when you can run a successful social media marketing campaign that drives visitors to join your list. You can virtually place your businesses products or services right at their fingertips. Which when done properly can create tremendous results! And you’ll have an engaging client producing system that will support your business for years to come.
